He is the former Deputy Surveyor General of Sri Lanka. Thirty-six years of experience in surveying in the survey Department and Five years as a Registered Licensed Surveyor.

He is CEO of GeoPlus Solutions (Pvt) Limited, a Surveying & Mapping Company in Sri Lanka (authorised reseller in Sri Lanka for AIRBUS DS GEO SA Satellite imageries).
